It’s very easy to compare yourself to your skinny friend or your gorgeous neighbor. We all do it. But the truth is, it’s your worst beauty habit. You can put on as much mascara, lip gloss and self tanner you want but if every time you leave the house, you compare what isn’t great about you to what is amazing about her, you will never be your most beautiful self. People are attracted to beauty, yes. But people are less deliberately attracted to an inner glow. We don’t always know why we think someone is so beautiful who may not look conventional or doesn’t dress like the rest of the crowd. We just know we think that person is incredible looking. It’s called the “it” factor. Before your next workout, work on getting your insides just as healthy. Then you will stop the dreaded comparing and appreciate what is absolutely gorgeous about you. And believe me, your uniqueness even if you think it’s your weakness, can be your biggest asset!
