Did you know that Apple Cider Vinegar has more uses than just a dressing for your salad? This simple home item that you probably already have in your cabinet can be used as an acne/skin toner, weight maintenance and as a shampoo clarifying solution. Take a look at a recipe for an DIY skin toner. Stay tuned in future blogs for how to use Apple Cider Vinegar for weight maintenance.

Apple Cider Vinegar Toner

Here is a great recipe from Coconuts Kettle Bells which I like a lot. I have actually used this and it’s a fantastic DIY toner.

Raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
Distilied water

Optional:
Brewed herbal tea
Hydrosols (Like rose or orange)
Essential oils (Like lavender or tea tree)

Directions:

For sensitive skin: Mix 1 part apple cider vinegar with 4 parts water

For normal skin: Mix 1 part apple cider vinegar with 2 parts water

For oily skin: Mix 1 part apple cider vinegar with 1 part water

Try it, you might like it. Of course always do a patch test first. And experiment with different fragrant oils because of course tone skin still has to smell nice.
